Trillian
Trillian is a downloadable application that allows multiprotocol instant messaging. Created by Cerulean Studios, the application connects multiple instant messaging services like AIM, ICQ, Windows Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and IRCNovell GroupWise Messenger in one program, reducing the amount of program installations. The proprietary service is not limited in function to only messenger services, it also connects with email services like POP3, IMAP and GMAIL, and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace.
